The Early County chapter of the Georgia Young Farmers Association, is proud to announce that Tyler and Tanner Williams have each been awarded the prestigious GYFA Terrell Weeks Memorial Scholarship, given out annually by the GYFA. Each year the GYFA awards up to 5 $1,000 scholarships to high school seniors preparing to embark on a college degree in the agriculture field. This year, both Tyler and Tanner Williams were selected by the scholarship committee to receive this accolade. Both individuals have impeccable academic careers, are Early County FFA Chapter Officers, are enrolled in the dual enrollment program to receive college credit while in high school and work part time at Hattaway Farms. Each young man will be pursuing a degree in Agricultural Engineering from the University of Georgia in the fall. Pictured right are Tyler and Tanner Williams at the GYFA State Convention.
