Bluffton Baptist Church to host ‘Shoebox Saturday’

Bluffton Baptist Church invites all local shoebox packers, organizations or churches that currently pack Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes — as well as anyone who is interested in learning more about the worldwide impact of Operation Christmas Child to a “Shoebox Saturday” event, Saturday Sept. 8 from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. at the Bluffton Community House.

The program will include information on how to pack a shoebox, how to organize your group in establishing and accomplishing your shoebox goals, as well as hearing from an OCC Representative that recently traveled to Malawi, Africa to take part in a distribution. Light refreshments will be served, OCC resources will be available for pickup.

Contact Meghan Williams at 229-641- 2005 for more information. The first five organizations to arrive will receive 20 shoeboxes to help meet their packing goals for this year.
