Josephine Staib

Josephine Delia Flannery Staib passed away Sunday, July 22, 2018, in the Miller County Hospital.

Mrs. Staib was born March, 23, 1928, in New York City, N.Y., to the late John Flannery and Delia Bolie. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church, Blakely, Ga., and was a bus driver for the Suffolk County School System in New York.

Other than her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Walter Staib; and a sister, Kathleen Heavern.

Survivors include one daughter, Kathleen Krivan and Kevin of Bluffton, Ga.; three sons, Daniel Staib and Ann Marie of Bluffton, Michael Francis Staib and Kathy of Centereach, N.Y., and John William Staib and Kathy Ann of Lake Havasu, Ariz.; 14 grandchildren; 22 greatgrandchildren; and three great-greatgrandchildren.

The funeral service will be today, Wednesday, July 25, 2018, at 11 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church with Father Mike Kerin officiating. Visitation will be at 10 a.m. one hour prior to the service.

Pallbearers will be Jack Staib, Kevin Krivan, Daniel Langton, Jody Craft, Cody Craft and Bill Swofford.

Manry-Jordan- Hodges Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
