Here come the Cats!

Everyone might not be excited about returning to school Friday. But most folks get excited about what the start of each school year brings with it... the anticipation of football season!

And Bobcat fans won’t have to wait long to see the Cats in action. They will host the Seminole County Indians Friday, Aug. 10 for a scrimmage game at 7 p.m. at Standifer Field.

For those wondering, yes, that does mean the end of the long running “Chicken Box Bowl” against Terrell.

The 2018 football season gets underway the following week when the Bobcats travel to Thomasville to play the Thomas County Central Yellow Jackets.

Coach Joel Harvin will lead the Bobcats into his second season as head coach with the Cats focused on improving on last season’s 2-8 record.
