PCSG names Toole CEO

LaDon Toole LaDon Toole The Primary Care of Southwest GA Board of Directors has appointed LaDon Toole, a native of Bainbridge and longtime Southwest Georgia resident, as the new chief executive officer. The announcement follows an extensive regional, state and national search and interview process by the board.

“Mr. Toole brings to PCSG a wealth of healthcare experience, knowledge and expertise that will serve our organization well,” stated Wallace O’Neal, board president. “His higher education includes a bachelor of science and education from the University of Georgia and a master in healthcare administration from State University of West Georgia. He has many years of diverse experience in administration in hospitals, rural health clinics, nursing homes and other healthcare systems. We look forward to the leadership skills he brings to PCSG.”

Toole is assuming the CEO responsibilities following the retirement of Dr. Ann Addison who was CEO the past 11 years.

Primary Care of Southwest GA, Inc. is a 501c3 with a board of directors operating Federally Qualified Health Centers in Early, Decatur, Thomas and Brooks counties.

The six sites include a primary care site with a Pediatric center in Blakely, primary care sites in Bainbridge, Thomasville and Quitman, and a school based site and midwifery center in Thomasville.

High quality health care is available to all patients including those covered with commercial insurance, Medicare, Medicaid, Tri- Care, etc. Services to uninsured patients are offered utilizing a sliding fee discount scale for those who meet the eligibility criteria based on household size and income.
