Blakely Mass Choir to be part of gospel awards show


The Blakely Mass Choir The Blakely Mass Choir The Blakely Mass Choir will travel to Greenville, S.C., June 22 and June 23 to be a part of the 10th Annual Rhythm of Gospel Music Awards.

The Rhythm of Gospel Music Awards Show is an annual event filled with a variety of innovative and exciting showcases, choir competitions, pageants and achievement galas, bringing in over 4,500 excited tourists, churches, social and civic groups, families and professionals throughout the entire USA, Canada, and the Bahamas.

This original award show is currently ranked #3 in gospel awards shows and the largest Independent Gospel Music Award Show in the nation, continuously giving various gospel artists both a national platform and a positive collaboration, which supports artists of all ethnicities in various genres of gospel music.

The Blakely Mass Choir will perform Friday, June 22 at the Midnight Musical Celebration and again Saturday, June 23 at the “Where Are They Now?” musical, which highlights winners from past years.

“We were blessed to bring home two of the six awards that we were nominated for last year,” stated founder, musician and director Frederick Shorter. “It is indeed an honor for us to be asked to come back this year to perform as one of the winning choirs from past years. To God be the glory.”
