ECHS literary students compete

(Not pictured, Jared Hawkins) The Region Literary competition was held Saturday, March 3 in Ocilla at Irwin County High School. This year’s competition was different from the previous competitions.

The contestants competed against students from an area that was compiled of two regions joined together. Early County competed against Berrien, Fitzgerald and Thomasville from this region. They also competed against Bryan, Jeff Davis, Metter, Toombs and Vidalia from the other region. The top two winners from each area advanced to state.
