Azzie L. Jones Williams of Blakely, Ga., passed away April 4, 2018.

Mrs. Williams was born Jan. 21, 1943, to the late Roosevelt Jones and Reatha Mae Jones. She was a member of Wesley Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church. She was a 1962 graduate of Washington High School in Blakely, was a homemaker and was self-employed.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her three sisters, Rose L. Sanders, Mary Liza Hutchins and Eleanor Sapp; and three brothers, Roosevelt Jones Jr., Alex Jones and Jack Jones Jr.

Survivors include one daughter, Teresa Williams of Stockbridge, Ga.; two sons, David Williams of Blakely and Roy K. Williams of Jacksonville, Fla.; three brothers, McArthur Jones of Blakely, Willie C. Jones and Gladys of Blakely, and Johnny C. Jones of Albany, Ga.; five sisters, Pastor Louise McCoy of Miami, Fla., Ann Jones West and Johnny of Miami, Evangelist Bennie P. Sapp and Willie Pearl Jones, Thelma Gilbert and James, all of Blakely; five grandchildren; and five greatgrandchildren.

Funeral services were held April 12, 2018, at Wesley Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church in Blakely with Rev. Sonja Rivers and Rev. Kenneth Cody officiating.

Peoples Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
