We will see YOU there!

Who knew? There are times when it’s OK to sound like a broken record. Like touting “it gets better every year” when the next Peanut Proud Festival rolls around! Followed by another cliché which comes to mind — “It ain’t braggin’ if it’s true!”

Well, the 10th Annual Peanut Proud is here, and it’s going to be the best yet... Walter Brennan would add, “no brag, just fact!”

“Blue skies”

Nothing to do with clichés, but this country publisher is again predicting blue skies for Saturday — along with most prognosticators who predict such things for a living.

The Fun Activities!

The day’s activities get started with an early, fast pace with the Peanut Proud 5K at 8 a.m. followed by the Fun Run.

To the delight of over 100 vendors, Court Square, South Main and Columbia Road will be lined with crowds before 10 a.m. awaiting the “Ten Years Strong” Peanut Proud Parade.

College Street will be the location of ecstatic kids all day at the Kids Zone where they will enjoy the Sky Jump trampoline, train rides, Race Mania, a wrecking ball ride, face painting, free inflatables and much more!

The peanut butter aroma on College Street will be unmistakable too, during the running of the

Peanut Butter Obstacle

Course which begins at 2 p.m. Use your imagination... there is more you can do with peanut butter besides eatin’ it!

The day’s activities begin winding down late Saturday...NOT! As the blue sky darkens hundreds will just be changin’ gears as The Atlanta All Stars take the stage for the 10th annual Peanut Proud Street Dance!

Over the top music!

One of the most passionate, high-energy performers in country music, Jo Dee Messina, will be on stage Saturday!

A seasoned veteran in the music industry, Jo Dee’s breakout song, “Heads Carolina, Tails California,” jump started her career, making her a household name.

Adding to the festival’s “WOW factor” with their big Alabama smiles will be the rising Country group, Sweet Tea Trio. The spirited young ladies were named Alabama’s Country Female Artist of the Year for 2016.

Peanut Proud festival goers will also get to hear Chris Bandi, a new sound heard the first time he played in Music City four years ago. The singer/songwriter is now among the most exciting up-and-coming artists.

As the 5K and Fun Run awards presentations wind down Saturday morning, the unique inspirational sounds will Fill Court Square as “Perfect Praise Men of God” take to the stage with a mission to minister the word of God.

The Atlanta All Stars, an out of this world dance band, take the stage at 7 p.m. for the 10th annual street dance!
