Bobcat senior offensive lineman Jarrett Heath celebrated national signing day at ECHS by making his decision to join the University of West Georgia’s football team official Wednesday, Feb. 7.

The Wolves are excited to get this six foot four 280 pound powerhouse lineman. He toured the university January 20 with his parents and older brother, and said, “The decision to go to West Georgia was easy after visiting the campus and meeting the coaches; it feels like home and I am excited to begin my future there.”

Heath has been playing football since the age of seven and joined the varsity team at ECHS in ninth grade. He was named to the All-Region and All-State teams this past season. He will move to Carrollton over the summer beginning classes and training in June; he is currently undecided on a major.
