Again, MLK got it right!

Mumbles
Billy Fleming

Aware of the violence, racial strife, and economic chaos Antifa, Black Lives Matter and other globalist-controlled organizations are determined to impose on America, the following caught my attention on MLK Day.

Jim Geraghty recalled a seldom quoted portion of Martin Luther King Jr.’s “I Have a Dream” speech in the National Review’s Morning Jolt Monday...

“In the process of gaining our rightful place, we must not be guilty of wrongful deeds. Let us not seek to satisfy our thirst for freedom by drinking from the cup of bitterness and hatred. We must forever conduct our struggle on the high plane of dignity and discipline. We must not allow our creative protest to degenerate into physical violence. Again and again, we must rise to the majestic heights of meeting physical force with soul force.” Geraghty noted this portion of the speech needs to be quoted more often, for its lessons to all of us!

Most of you will be frozen by the time you read this. The weather service is forecasting temps in the low 20s and wind chill in the teens.

Every cold snap like this reminds me of one particular freeze in the early 1980s when they missed the prediction by more than 10 degrees.

At zero degrees my weather proofing was working — until we lost power!
