Security training offered

The Albany-Dougherty County Drug Unit will be in Blakely Jan. 9, 2018, at 6 p.m. at First Freewill Baptist Church to educate citizens at an “Active Shooter Training” meeting. Information addressed will be focused on church security measures and how to become more proactive in churches for keeping everyone safer.

This training is for anyone from pastor to layman to come and engage in how they can protect themselves and their congregations. Not only the concern for safety is addressed but also the legal aspects of allowing members of the congregation to carry guns if they have a license to carry.

Anyone and everyone is encouraged to attend, No church is too small or too large not to be concerned.
