Donald Molleur

Donald James Molleur, 74, of Blakely, Ga., died suddenly at his residence Monday, Dec. 18, 2017.

Mr. Molleur was born Aug. 15, 1943, in Pittsfield, Mass., to the late Henry Molleur and Helen Mungeon Molleur. He received a degree in printing and worked for the Scheaffer Eaton Paper Company in Pittsfield, Mass., for many years. While living in Blakely for many years he and his wife owned a restaurant, were couriers and Don recently helped manage The Store, across from New Hope Baptist Church. He was of the Catholic faith.

Survivors include his wife, Christine Emily Roberts Molleur of Blakely; two daughters, Jennifer Bright and James, and Julie Slappy and Joel, all of Blakely; two sons, Jonathan Molleur of Boston, Mass., and George Barry and Tracy of Decatur, Ga.; 12 grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.

His wishes were to be cremated and the family will announce a service at a later date.

Manry-Jordan Funeral Home are in charge of arrangements.
