Kolomoki Mounds State Park will be popping with color this upcoming spring thanks to The Garden Club of Georgia’s Parks and Public Lands Committee. The theme for this year National Garden Club is “Plant America” and they have decided to plant a minimum of 25 daffodil bulbs in each state park. The Colquitt Garden Club joined the youth from Glorious Community Church with their pastor Eddie Stapleton on Nov. 21, 2017 to plant 75 bulbs at Kolomoki.

This event was coordinated by Martha Price who is the immediate past president of the Garden Club of Georgia and a native to Blakely. She was also joined by Jean O’Shields the Magnolia District Director. Visit the park this spring to see these beautiful bulbs add color to the park Visitor Center.
