Terina Kenyon


Terina Lewis Kenyon, 72, of Fort Gaines, Ga., passed away Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2017, at Southeast Alabama Medical Center.

Mrs. Kenyon was born May 22, 1945, in Concord, N.C., to the late James Lewis and Helen Little Lewis. She was the mayor of Fort Gaines, retired from Dr. Kinsell’s office and was a member of Mount Gilead Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, William O. “Bill” Kenyon of Fort Gaines; three sons, William O. Kenyon Jr. of Chamblee, Ga., James A. Kenyon of Glastonbury, Conn., and Ray E. Kenyon of Dothan, Ala.; a sister, June Zaloumis of Concord, Calif.; and five grandchildren.

Graveside funeral services were conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 1, 2017, in New Park Cemetery in Fort Gaines with Rev. Randy Stokes officiating.

Memorials may be made to the Fort Gaines Cemetery Fund, c/o City of Fort Gaines, or to the Children’s Miracle Network.

Lunsford Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
