Muriel Foster

Muriel “Sister” Hall Foster, 83, Flea Hop Road, Bluffton, Ga., passed away at her residence Wednesday afternoon, Nov. 29, 2017, after a lengthy illness.

Mrs. Foster was born Feb. 3, 1934, in Blakely, Ga., to the late Robert Duncan Hall Sr. and Hilda Hobbs Hall. She was a member of First United Methodist Church and a homemaker.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Dan Foster and Bill Foster.

Survivors include her husband, William Frederick “Fred” Foster of Bluffton; a daughter, Sue Foster of Blakely; a brother, Robert Duncan Hall Jr. of Fort Gaines, Ga.; two grandchildren, Will Foster and wife Kirsten, and Casey Puckett; and one greatgranddaughter,

Molly, all of Blakely.

Funeral services were held Friday afternoon, Dec. 1, 2017, at 2 p.m. at First United Methodist Church with Dr. Alex Howell officiating. Burial followed the funeral in the Pine Lawn Gardens Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Jim Wood, Rylan Foster, Joel Harvin, Gary Clinkscales, Will Foster and Jim Morrell.

The family received friends for visitation starting at 1 p.m. in the Church social hall.

Manry-Jordan- Hodges Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
