Camerata Chorus to present Christmas concert

The Camerata Chorus and Eufaula Men’s Chorus, a fifty voice choir made up of people in and around Eufaula and southwest Georgia will present their 2017 concert, “Glory Divine” on Tuesday December 5th at 7:30 p.m. in Blakely First United Methodist Church. Ronnie Marshall is director. In addition to accompanists Cara Hutto and Ann Mitchell at the piano and organ, various instruments will be used in some numbers including hand bells, flute, trumpet, violin, guitar, penny whistle, bagpipes, and djembe (drum).

The Christmas Concert has been a tradition since 1971. It is a labor of love and a gift to the communities in which it is presented. There is no admission charge, but anyone desiring to do so may give a donation to the Camerata Music Scholarship Fund.

Everyone in the community is invited to attend. Local members in the chorus include Kathryn Pace and Shirley Sims. Come, prepare your hearts for the Christmas season with beautiful music.
