“Backpack of Hope” planning meeting will be held at New Zion Baptist Church Saturday, Nov. 18 at 10 a.m. This will be the last meeting before distributing 2,100 backpacks to every Early County child age 2-14. Anyone interested in volunteering is welcome to attend this meeting. New Prospect

Rosinvick Missionary Baptist Church will host their annual “They Got the Word” revival Nov. 20 through Nov. 24 at 7 p.m. Guest speakers will be: Monday, Rev. David Johnson and Big Bethel Choir of Cuthbert; Tuesday, Rev. Jeffrey Haynes and Saint Mathis, New Bethel Choir of Fort Gaines; Wednesday, Rev. James Turner and Saint Paul and First Baptist Church; Thursday, Rev. Perez Blackmon and Rosinvick Missionary Baptist Church; and Friday, Rev. Ben Stanley and New Zion, Green Grove of Lumpkin. Everyone is invited to attend.

Evergreen Church will present their Candlelight Service Sunday, Dec. 3 at 6 p.m. Minister Teresa Teal of Anointed Missionary Baptist Church of Blakely will bring the message. All are invited to attend.
