Worsley receives award at ABAC


Jamie Worsley Jamie Worsley Jamie Worsley, a freshman history and government major from Arlington, received the People’s Choice award at the recent Ms. ABAC event at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College.

Worsley is the daughter of Larry and Heather Worsley. She was sponsored by the ABAC Ambassadors.

Shannon Kehoe, a senior agricultural communications major from Myakka City, Fla., was crowned Ms. ABAC 2018. Other finalists included first runnerup Meredith McGlamory, a sophomore agricultural communications and marketing major from Abbeville; second runner up Madison Williams, a senior agricultural communications major from Winder; third runner-up Delaney Foster, a junior crop and soil sciences major from Perry; and fourth runner-up Delanie Israel, a junior diversified agriculture major from Smithville.

Kehoe received the individual award in the interview category. Cassidy Davis, a junior agribusiness major from Jefferson, received the Ms. Congeniality award; and Janna Jernigan, a freshman agriculture major from Alapaha, received the individual award in the essay category.

The Agricultural Business Club sponsored the event. A portion of the proceeds benefitted the American Cancer Society Relay for Life.
