Warriors win homecoming game 60-0

Southwest Georgia Academy had their homecoming game against PCA Friday, Oct. 6. The game started at 6:30 p.m. with the introduction of the homecoming court representatives then at 7 p.m. the PCA Panthers kicked the ball off to the Warriors.

The Warriors were able to come out with a strong defense and offense that made them dominate the game. The final score was 60-0 with the Warriors winning.

Senior Cam Granger had 3 carries for a 109 yards. Freshman Rylan O’Hearn, had 12 carries for 90 yards. Junior Parker Weaver had 5 carries for 89 yards. Senior BB Tedder had 3 carries for 53 yards. Senior KJ Warren and junior Aaron Haire had 1 carry for 13 yards. Senior KJ Warren, junior

Our boys played with great intensity and it paid off. Our goal has been to get better every week, and I think we’ve done that so far,” head coach McFather said.

Next week is another home game against Terrell Academy and during the game SGA will honor the late Weston Lee, SGA alumni class of 2009, by retiring his SGA football jersey.
