Lifebrite officials visit

The Hospital Authority met with Lifebrite Hospital Group representatives last week at their July quarterly meeting.

Lifebrite executives included Chief Executive Officer Christian Fletcher and Chief Financial Officer Warren Binderman. Also attending the meeting was Gary Stelluti of HC Marketing and Ken Morris, president and CEO of M Systems, a hospital management software company which will be installing a new Electronic Medical Records system.

The bankruptcy court approved the Asset Purchase Agreement bid of Lilburn, Ga.-based LifeBrite Hospital Group June 23 during a

Sale Hearing.”

Lifebrite, which has already acquired Pioneer Community Hospital of Stokes in Danbury, N.C., was one of two hospital management firms which submitted bids for the Sale of the Assets for Pioneer Health Services d/b/a Pioneer Community Hospital of Early.

The other bidder was Dr. Kirnjot Singh/Alliant Management Service of Lexington, Ky., whose bid for Pioneer Community Hospital of Aberdeen in Aberdeen, Miss., was approved by the court.

“We want you to know we will do everything possible to make your endeavor here pleasant and profitable,” stated chairman Buck Grist when introducing the guests.

“We had a very informative and beneficial Q&A session earlier with the hospital department heads,” stated CEO Fletcher.

“We are really happy with the people here,” stated CFO Binderman. “They are really dedicated and committed.”

“We are looking forward to reaching out to the community and sharing what we have here,” stated Gary Stelluti.

The proposed closing date under the asset purchase agreement is Aug. 31, at which time a six-month transition agreement with Pioneer begins.
