Early native sighted

Lent Houston Lent Houston Everyone’s been asking about Lent Houston. Well, the Early County News received a report of a “Lent sighting” this week!

“He had lunch with me in California three weeks ago,” Blakely native Joann (Jordan) Fitzgibbons told the News during her two-week visit to Blakely.

She noted places friends could look for Lent, including in the Rose Bowl Parade in Pasadena where his daughter Lynn lives, or walking on the beach near son Steve’s home in San Clemente or near daughter Harriet’s in Dana Point, Calif.

He told Joann that upon leaving Upland when he turns 100, “I’m going back to Blakely and run four miles around Court Square like I did when I was younger.”

“Oh! how he misses Blakely,” she added.

Send us your ‘sightings’!!!
