Entertainment

Parmalee, the Platinum-selling band of brothers heralded as “Country Music’s Breakout Stars,” has supported Brad Paisley and Jake Owen on national tours while finding time to perform on numerous TV shows.

Darin & Brooke Aldridge Darin & Brooke Aldridge Parmalee’s country rock sound has its roots in the bluegrass, traditional country, southern rock and blues covers the guys grew up hearing their families play.

A near-fatal robbery Parmalee experienced after a show would have destroyed most bands. But brothers Matt and Scott Thomas, cousin Barry Knox and longtime friend Josh McSwain didn’t call it quits. Instead it reinforced their intense motivation and dedication to one another and to their determination to succeed.

Parmalee recently made history when its multi-week #1 smash “Carolina” became the longest climbing single by a duo or group in the 24-year history of the Billboard Country Airplay Chart.

The husband and wife duo Darin & Brooke Aldridge combines rich harmonies with impeccable musicianship to create the unmistakable sound that has made them one of the hottest young acts in acoustic music.

Atlanta All Stars Atlanta All Stars Their new project, Faster & Farther, their 7th album, was released Feb. 10, 2017. Darin and Brooke enjoyed the busiest touring year of their career in 2016.

According to Billboard Magazine, Darin & Brooke have carved out one of the fastest rising careers on the acoustic music scene today.

The duo has placed several tracks at the top of the charts and their music videos “Wildflower” and “Tennessee Flat Top Box” were heavily featured on country and gospel music TV channels.

The 2016 Georgia Music Awards Female Artist of the Year — Blakely’s own Ryn Crider — will kick off the afternoon entertainment!

Ryn is the daughter of Jay and Amy Palmer and granddaughter of Tommy Palmer of Statesboro. She is a 2005 graduate of Early County High.

Ryn Ryn Since Crider’s musical career began, she has shared the stage with Rhett Atkins, LoCash Cowboys, Bobby Pinson, Daryl Singletary, The Atlanta Rhythm Section and many more.

Crider is the lead singer for the country, southern rock band, Dry Weather Sun.

Coming from a family filled with musicians and radio personalities, Crider was exposed to music at an early age and began performing at the age of five. Since that time, she always dreamed of growing up to be a singer.

The Atlanta Allstars, an absolute, out of this world dance band geared to please any audience ranging from hip-hop, to classic jazz, big band and swing, is back by popular demand for the Peanut Proud Street Dance!
