Kolomoki Festival October 8

The 45th annual Kolomoki Festival is set for Saturday, Oct. 8 with plans for great music, delicious food and fun activities for all ages.

Events and activities planned by the Friends of Kolomoki and the park staff for this year’s festival include an antique tractor parade, a live reptile show, free arts and crafts for kids, Native American demonstrations, boat tours and a corn hole tournament.

Performances by Colquitt’s Swamp Gravy and Ryn & Cody of the Dry Weather Sun Band will highlight the day’s entertainment along with local dance and choral groups.

Admission to the park is $5 per vehicle. For more informa- tion call 724-2150.

$18 for small - XL and $20 for 2XL and 3XL. Proceeds go to the Friends of Kolomoki.

Friends of Kolomoki is a local chapter of Friends of Georgia State Parks and Historic Sites, a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving and promoting Georgia’s state parks and historic sites.
