The winner of the election of a senator to replace Senator John Bulloch will be determined in a runoff Feb. 5 between Dean Burke and Mike Keown.

When the complete return were reported at 9:30 pm Tuesday Burke received 42.59 percent of Tuesday’s special election votes to Keown’ss 37.37 percent. Hughes ran a distant third with 7.81 percent followed by Bivins with 6.47 percent, McNease 4.69 percent and Berman 1.06 percent.
