ECHS Gives Back to Macy Easom Cancer Research Foundation

The Macy Easom Cancer Research Foundation has partnered with Early County High School in a fundraiser for the fight against pediatric cancer.

The ECHS Beta Club will be selling cases of Coca-Cola products at $20 per case through Nov. 2. All proceeds raised during the fundraiser will benefit Macy Easom Cancer Research Foundation.

Led by Early County High School Media Specialist Ashley Collier, the Beta Club promotes academic achievement, character, service and leadership. Each year, the club chooses an organization to fundraise for and the foundation is one that hits close to home.

Lisa Easom Howard, board member of the foundation, says the foundation could not be more blessed to have the support of the Beta Club at Early County High School.

“Macy’s parents and I grew up in Blakely and attended Early County schools,” says Howard. “It means so much to have our hometown community supporting not only the foundation, but also Macy.”
