Bainbridge College completes MA program

A traditional pinning ceremony honored Bainbridge College students who completed BC’s Medical Assisting Program in the Division of Health Sciences. MA students from the main campus and the BC Early County Center were honored in the Aug. 4 ceremony at the Charles H. Kirbo Regional Center on the main campus.

Medical assisting graduates included Blakely residents Kamia Brown and Pamela Crozier, Sharon Demetrice Everette, Jerrica George, and Zaritha McDowell, Colquitt residents Nancy Craft, Lindy Miller, Tracie L. Roseborough; Cuthbert residents Marsha Diane Eubanks and Shabreka Wimberly, Betty Roberts of Damascus and Donalsonville residents Lisa Jones, Carol A. Smith, Erica Stokes and Maxine Wolfe.

Students speaking at the Aug. 4 ceremony included Betty Roberts of Damascus, who led the recitation of the Medical Assisting Creed.

Bainbridge College President Richard Carvajal welcomed the audience of about 200 to the ceremony. Other speakers included Vice President of Academic Affairs Tonya Strickland; MA Program Coordinator Sherry Harrison; MA faculty member Sharonda S. Murphy, and Health Sciences Division Chair Sheree Dickenson, who presented the class. Harrison and Murphy presided at the presenting of pins to the graduates. MA faculty members include Amber Cook and Haley Harrison.
