Mary Hollinger

Mary Louise Hollinger, 83, of Blakely died Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2011, at Pioneer Community Hospital in Blakely.

Mrs. Hollinger was born Dec. 4, 1927, in Blakely to the late John Pittman and Pauline Wimberly. She was a member of Zion Watch African Methodist Episcopal Church.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Lois Adams; and a grandchild, Anlisa Adams-Brown.

Survivors include two sons, James Stringer of Hollywood, Fla., and Fletcher Hollinger of Bowling Green, Fla.; a daughter, Annett Brisbon and husband Nathaniel of Eutawville, S.C.; 14 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren; and 14 great-greatgrandchildren.

Funeral services were Wednesday, Feb. 9, 2011, at 1 p.m. at Zion Watch African Methodist Episcopal Church with Rev. Mary Powell officiating. Interment followed at Friendship Baptist Church.

Pallbearers were Charles Stringer, George Brown, Johnny Hightower, Clayton Evans, Jawalski Thomas and Vanshun Brown.

Peoples Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
