Agents arrest three in Damascus
      An undercover drug investigation led to the arrest of three suspects in Damascus Jan. 25 by agents from Pataula Drug Task Force and the Damascus police chief. Agents seized approximately 12.5 grams of marijuana with a street value of $375.00, digital scales and a sawed off shotgun.

      Mrs. W.A. Lacey of Cedar Springs paid Three Notch EMC a visit last week to personally thank a Three Notch employee for saving her life. Cliff Godwin was reading his route in the Cedar Springs area the morning of Feb. 3, 2009. The temperature was about 30 degrees when he pulled up the long drive to Mrs. Lacey’s rural home about 8:30 a.m.
