Retired
Hank Timothy Ready, 49, of Blakely died Wednesday, Jan. 27, 2010, at his residence. Mr. Ready was born July 11, 1960, in Blakely, to Henrietta Wiley Ready and the late Bobby Lee Ready. He was a member of Southside Baptist Church and a retired painter. Survivors other than his mother include his wife, Rhonda Hurst Ready; three sons, Daniel Downing and wife Cathy of Bainbridge, Ga., Hank Ready Jr. and Waylon Bruce Ready, both of Blakely; five daughters, Melissa Ready and Amanda Brazel, both of Blakely, Christy Pollock and Stella Strickland, both of Leesburg, Ga., and Jessica Strickland of Albany, Ga.; and 12 grandchildren. Funeral services were Friday, Jan. 29, 2010, at 1 p.m. at Southside Baptist Church with Rev. Rick Smith officiating. Interment followed at Sowatchee Cemetery. Pallbearers were Michael Ready, Raymond Wiley, Mike Wiley, Riley Anglin, Johnny Still and Ryan Young. Honorary pallbearers were Cotton Naramore, Roy Daughtry, Jerry Daughtry, James Wiley, Jason Wiley, Jody Craft and Jimmy Wasdin. Manry-Jordan- Hodges was in charge of arrangements. |
