Burglary suspects arrested

Miles Miles Local authorities solved several recent burglaries Friday with the arrests of four suspects who are now facing burglary charges.

The arrests were in connection with break-ins Jan. 29 at Napa Auto Care, Jan. 6 and Jan. 15 at Southern Insurance and Jan. 17 at Old Mexico Restaurant. The suspects have also been charged in an attempted Jan. 15 break-in at Blakely Texaco.

Lt. Brent Alderman located property reported stolen from Napa Auto Care Friday behind a residence on Redbud Street Investigation led to the arrests in that burglary and the others.

The suspects are Charles Tinson, 28, charged with four counts burglary and one count attempted burglary; Chad Miles, 18, charged with three counts burglary and one count attempted burglary; Anthony Mays, 20, charged with three counts burglary; and Christopher Tolbert, 18, charged with two counts burglary and one count attempted burglary. Bond was set by the Magistrate Court at $7,500 for both Tolbert and Mays. Bond for Miles is pending a preliminary hearing. Tinson was denied bond pending an appearance in Superior Court due to previous convictions.
