Danny Day Danny Day Blakely native Danny Day is one of 27 people featured in The Atlantic magazine’s first annual feature, Brave Thinkers.

Among those featured in the list of Brave Thinkers, “Twenty-seven people with courageous ideas that are shaping our future,” are Ralph Nader, Steve Jobs, Ben Bernanke and Barack Obama.

The magazine states the feature provides a taste of the scope of the most interesting ideas, issues and Brave Thinking that have helped shape the most important discussions of our history. The Atlantic notes that Day’s company, Eprida, offers a promising method for absorbing and burying excess carbon dioxide, and quotes Day saying, “We have three billion people out there who are at risk for climate change and they can be making money solving our global problem.”

Danny is a lifelong business entrepreneur, public speaker, visionary and catalyst for action. Before starting Eprida, Danny founded Scientific Ag Industries in Blakely in 1995.

In 2002, with a background in carbon development, Danny led a hydrogen research team to a breakthrough innovation enabling a cost effective solution to managing greenhouse gases and facilitating a transition to a sustainable hydrogen economy.
