Teller training offered

The Bainbridge College continuing education division has partnered with Edcomm Banker's Academy to offer online teller training.

The comprehensive program, which costs $525, is for persons looking for a job at a bank, those already in the money service industry wanting to further their careers and those who want to have an overview of the industry.

It prepares participants in the areas of customer service, handling transactions and compliance issues. It also reviews bank products and services, such as checking, savings, CDs, loans and individual retirement accounts.

Even though the course is online, there is a real person that the participants can interact with. Because it is online, the student can start immediately after signing up with BC Continuing Ed and work wherever they have internet access — at home, at the college, the BC library, the Early County site in Blakely or public libraries.

Those interested may sign up at Continuing Ed on main campus or at the Early County site, or call 229-248- 2516 or Gean Hendrix at 229-248-2584.
