Greyson Harrell, 10- year-old son of Jonathan and Dana Harrell, traveled to Valdosta to participate in a 10-and-under baseball tournament with his travel team, the Southern Sluggers.

The tournament was held at Valdosta State University with proceeds to benefit the 12- and-under Valdosta Blazers travel expenses to Cooperstown, N.Y.

The Sluggers lost their first two games on Saturday but won all three on Sunday for the first place win.

During the tournament, Greyson hit his first out-of-the-park homerun, a 217 foot shot to right center.
