Guyton McLendon Sr, 93, of Stockbridge, died Friday, June 26, 2009 at Sacred Journey Hospice.

Mr. McLendon was born in Early County.

Survivors include a daughter, Felicia Crisler and husband of Jonesboro; a son, Roger McLendon and wife Malinda of Thomaston; six grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.

Funeral services were Monday, June 29, 2009, at 2 p.m. at Morrow First Baptist Church with Rev. Thomas Quisenberry officiating. Interment followed at Morrow City Cemetery.

Thomas L. Scroggs Funeral Directors were in charge of arrangements.
