Harris returns to work in Blakely

Dr. Brett Harris Brett Harris started her career in the veterinary field in 1998 as a student helper at Payton Veterinary Hospital. This past Monday, she returned to her old stomping grounds as Dr. Brett Harris, doctor of veterinary medicine.

A 2000 graduate of Early County High School, Harris completed her undergraduate studies at Columbus State College. During those years, she stayed close to the veterinary field by working in several clinics in the Columbus area.

This spring, Harris graduated cum laude from Auburn University's College of Veterinary Medicine earning a doctor of veterinary medicine degree.

Dr. Harris is now on staff at Peyton Veterinary Hospital on North Main in Blakely.
