Henry King
Henry David King, 67, of Jakin died Thursday, June 4, 2009, at Southeast Alabama Medical Center in Dothan, Ala.
Mr. King was born in Donalsonville March 1, 1942, to the late Henry Espie King and Hilda Moulton King Johnson. He worked as a maintenance foreman for Georgia Pacific for 41 years and was a member of Springfield Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Sonya King; two daughters, Sherrie McMullen and husband Johnny of Donalsonville and Teresa Cosby and husband Danny of Headland, Ala.; two step children, Bridget Henderson and husband Denny of Chelsea, Okla., and Ray Busch and wife Melissa of New Orleans, La.; one sister, Linda Godby and husband Jerry Godby of Donalsonville; two grandsons, Kade Cosby and Collin Cosby; three step-grandchildren, Madison Busch, Ray Busch and Lauren Busch.
Funeral services were Saturday, June 6, 2009, at Springfield Baptist Church with Rev. Fred Odom officiating. Interment followed at Friendship Memorial Gardens in Donalsonville.
Pallbearers were Lavon Chandler, Johnny Creel, Dick Howard, Harold King, Kenny King and Rick Moulton.
Evans-Skipper Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
