Bobbie Lee Price, 70, of Blakely died Sunday, May 31, 2009.

Mrs. Price was born in Early County Jan. 11, 1938, to the late Fannie Mae Davis and Hammond Davis Sr. She was a member of Saint Maryland Missionary Baptist Church and worked in food service for Early County Middle School and the Neighborhood Service Center.

She was preceded in death by three children, Bobbie Jean, Ellis and Ralph.

Survivors include 10 children, Faye Price, Carolyn Price and husband Darrell, Mary Williams and husband Thomas, Johnell Price and wife Dana, Kenneth Price and wife Kim, Deborah George and husband Bernard, Rita James and husband Edwin, Aretha Tinson and husband Fred, William Price and wife Val and Rebecca Henderson and husband Rex; two siblings, Hammond Davis Jr. and wife Cenell and Willie Mae Davis; 31 grandchildren; and 22 greatgrandchildren.

Funeral services were Friday, June 5, 2009, at 11 a.m. at Saint Maryland Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. R. Gardner officiating. Interment followed at Saint Maryland Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Darrell Brown, George Cuff, Frederic Davis, Curtis Pugh, Victor Robinson, Donald Skipper, Joe Wilson and Fredrick Wimberly.

Community Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
