Hubert Bradley Jr., 46, of Blakely died Saturday, May 30, 2009, at Archbold Medical Center in Thomasville, Ga.

Mr. Bradley was born in Blakely March 6, 1963, to Mary Jean Bradley and the late Hubert Bradley Sr. He was a member of Wesley Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church and worked as a supervisor at Early Memorial Hospital and Nursing Home for 29 years.

Survivors, other than his mother, include four children, Jessica Bradley of Blakely, Oneal Bradley and Hubert Bradley III, both of Coca Beach, Fla., and Takhia C. Williams and husband Cameron of Akron, Ohio; six brothers, Jimmie Bradley and wife Pamela, Billy Bradley and wife Danaiel, David Bradley, and Tracy Bradley, all of Blakely, Joseph Bradley and wife Diann of Ft. Gaines and Grady Bradley and wife Kathyleen of Dothan, Ala.; one sister, Anne Hutchins and husband Donald of Blakely; and four grandchildren, Aden Powell of Blakely, Cameron T. Butler Jr., Me'Kayla Butler and Jaylen Hutchins, all of Akron, Ohio.

Funeral services were Saturday, June 6, 2009, at 3 p.m. at Wesley Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church with Rev. Kenneth Cody officiating. Interment followed at the church cemetery.

Pallbearers were Terry Wimberly, Frank Wimberly Jr., Charles Eaford, Willie Collier, Shawn Harris and Jonathan Clark.

Honorary pallbearers were Jimmie Bradley, David Bradley, Joseph Bradley, Billy Bradley, Grady Bradley and Tracey Bradley.

Peoples Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
