Mary Olivia "Mary-O" Thompson, 58, of Newnan died Wednesday, May 27, 2009 at her residence. Miss Thompson was born in Blakely to the late Oree and Leta Thompson. She was a social worker for DFACS, and an officer for the Coweta Co. sheriff's department and for Coweta County and Newnan law enforcement. She was preceded in death by a brother, Patrick Douglas Thompson. Survivors include one brother, Robert Oree Thompson Jr. of Blakely; one sister, Angie Sayeski of Dublin, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews. McKoon Funeral Home of Newnan was in charge of arrangements. |
