      Bobby James Bostwick, 71, of Blakely died Friday, Feb. 27, 2009, at Southeast Alabama Medical Center in Dothan, Ala. Mr. Bostwick was born in Early County Aug. 16, 1937, to the late Charles Gregory Bostwick Sr. and Maurine Sammons Bostwick. He retired as the Early County Road Superintendent and was a member of Colomokee Baptist Church.

      Hugh Thomas Bryan Sr. of Leesburg, Ga., died Feb. 27, 2009, at Lee County Health Care. Mr. Bryan was born in Early County June 8, 1917, to the late William Cullen and Tommie Roberts Bryan. He was an engineer and a fireman for the Seaboard Railroad and lived in Americus and Savannah while working for the railroad.
