More than 5,000 men and women in uniform provided military ceremonial support to the presidential inauguration, a tradition dating back to George Washington's 1789 inauguration.

I had the pleasure of being in Washinton DC for the inauguration of President Barack Obama. I must admit it was indeed a very important and happy experience. I never thought I would live to see the day and I thank God for the opportunity. May God continue to bless the United States of America.
