Mary Ann Trice

Mary Ann Howard Trice, 69, of Blakely died Saturday, Jan. 3, 2009, at Early Memorial Hospital.

Mrs. Trice was born in Early County Feb. 6, 1939, to the late Willie Howard and Pearl Cannon. She was a member of Rosinvick Missionary Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by two daughers, Barbara Smith and Thelma Trice; one sister, Thelma Powell; and three brothers, Andrew Howard, Willie Earl Howard and Charles Edward Howard.

Survivors include her husband, Richard Trice; three daughters, Ruby Lee and husband James of Blakely, Sandra Etheridge of Warner Robins, and Willie Mae and husband Willie of Blakely; four sons, Jonathan Favors of Dublin, Ga., Leandrew Favors and wife Hazel of Blakely, Johnny Favors of Warner Robins and Bobby Favors and wife Sandra of Atlanta; four sisters, Annette Hill of West Palm Beach, Fla., Claudia Gregory of Tampa, Jeannette White of New Jersey, and Annie Bell Bailey and husband Enon of Blakely; one brother, K.C. White of Blakely; 24 grandchildren; and a host of great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were Saturday, Jan. 10, 2009, at 2 p.m. at Rosinvick Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Bobby Favors officiating. Interment followed at Rosinvick Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Ricky Neves, Brandon Favors, Michael Lee, Charles Eaford Jr., Fredrick Favors and Demetrious Lee.

People's Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
