Bernice Still

Miriam Bernice Still, 90, of Blakely died Monday, June 30, 2008, at Southeast Medical Center in Dothan, Ala.

Mrs. Still was born in Early County Sept. 8, 1917 to the late Clarence Wilson Mosely and Lucy Corean Reed Mosely. She was a member and Sunday school teacher of Zion Free Will Baptist Church, member and past matron of Blakely Chapter #282 order of the Eastern Star, member of the Early County Historical Society and Daughters of the Revolution.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Martin Wilson Still.

Survivors include two daughters, June Still Jones of Blakely and Ann Still Reese and husband Randall of Dublin, Ga.; four sons, David Still and wife Hallie, Ronnie Still and wife Sharon, Harold Still and wife Veronica, all of Blakely and Wilson Still and wife Laura of Atlanta; one sister, Catherine M. Still of Douglas, Ga.; 14 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services are today, Wednesday, July 2, 2008, at 2 p.m. at Zion Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. Wayne Sheffield officiating. Interment will follow at Sowhatchee Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Steve Jones, Kevin Jones, Ron Still, Adam Still, Hal Still and Brad Still.

Honorary pallbearers are the members of the Zion Free Will Baptist Church.

Manry-Jordan-Hodges is in charge of arrangements.
