Clarence Pullen Jr. Clarence "Sonny" Walthall Pullen Jr., 76, of Orange Park, Fla., died Tuesday, June 17, 2008, in Sugar Land, Texas. Mr. Pullen was born in Shellman Nov. 28, 1931, to the late Clarence Pullen Sr. and Carrie Frances Terry Pullen. He served in the Air Force during the Korean War and attended Shorter College and Auburn University. He worked for Lockheed Aircraft, owned a feed and seed store in Blakely, was a salesman and branch manager for Monroe Business Systems and AB Systems and AB Dick copying. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy "Patsy" Pauline Guion Pullen; and two sisters, Elizabeth "Polly" Hampton and Margaret Hall. Survivors include one son, Clarence "Walt" Pullen III of Tallahassee; two daughters, Dorothy "Candi" Meuth of Tallahassee and Sally Dupre' of Orange Park, Fla.; one sister, Carolyn Carter of Tallahassee; one brother, George Pullen of Rome, Ga.; eight grandchildren, Clarence Pullen IV, Sean Pullen, Victoria Meuth, Sandra Meuth and Christina Meuth, all of Tallahassee, Kimberley Pullen of Cottage Grove, Minn., and Jared Pullen and Kathryn Dupre', both of Orange Park; and one greatgrandchid, Grace Pullen of Tallahassee. Memorial services will be Saturday, June 28, 2008, at 5 p.m. at the home of Mr. Pullen's niece, Terry Hoover, at 1425 Covey Ride in Luna Manor Plantation off Bull Headley Rd. in Tallahassee.
Mr. Pullen's family is in charge of arrangements.
