Robert Alvin Burke Robert Alvin Burke, 62, of Morgan died Tuesday, June 17, 2008, at his residence. Mr. Burke was born in Calhoun County Sept. 3, 1945, to the late Johnny Burke and Lillie Mae Lockridge Burke. He was of the Baptist faith and a shop foreman for Anderson Construction Company in Ft. Gaines. Survivors include his wife, Betty Fulton Burke; one daughter, Christine Simmons and husband Dan of Vienna; one son, Allen Burke and wife Tracy of Albany; one brother, James Burke and wife Katherine of Ft. Gaines; two sisters, Lois Sammons of Shellman and Linda Faye Burke of Carnegie; and two granddaughters, Danielle and Shelby Simmons of Vienna. Graveside services were Thursday, June 19, 2008, at 3 p.m. at Bluffton Cemetery with Rev. Randy Stokes officiating.
Manry-Jordan-Hodges was in charge of arrangements.
