Kids Fishing Rodeo Saturday

Hey kids, bring a little heavier fishing gear to the Kolomoki Farm Fishing Rodeo. There are some big fish in the pond this year!

Kolomoki Farm will hold its 5th annual Kids Fishing Rodeo Saturday, June 14 from 8 a.m. to 12 noon. The rodeo is open to all kids 15 and under. Kids must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Kids, in addition to a parent or guardian, you will need to bring your fishing gear - fishing pole with tackle, bait and a bucket. And tell them they are along for the excitement and may want to bring a lawn chair, sunscreen and insect repellent. You get to keep the fish you catch - they're good to eat. There will be awards for the biggest fish, too! When the fishing is done, everyone attending the rodeo will be served lunch.

Getting to the North Lane Catfish Pond... from Blakely and Bluffton, take the Arlington-Bluffton Road 4.4 miles and follow the signs.

From Arlington, take the Arlington- Edison Road to John McMurria Road, go five miles and follow the signs.
