Still wins writing contest

Ethan Still
This past school year students all across Georgia entered the Young Georgia Authors Writing Competition. This competition encourages students to develop writing skills and celebrates the writing successes of all students. Dr. Sue Snow, associate superintendent for standardsbased learning at the Georgia Department of Education, announced Ethan Still as a winner in the Southwest Regional Educational Services Agency district. Ethan's story, titled "The Storm," was selected by the state as the fifth grade level winner out of 16 surrounding counties.

Ethan is the son of Hal and Michelle Still. Pictured with Ethan is David Ferry, principal of Early County Elementary School.
