18 honored in pinning ceremony

Alana McLendon of Blakely was one of 18 students in the Bainbridge College Associate Degree of Nursing program honored in a traditional pinning ceremony May 3. Diplomas were awarded*- at BC graduation May 9.

Students received their nurse's pins in the pinning ceremony at Fellowship Baptist Church and are eligible to sit for the exam to become registered nurses. Graduates include Baker County, Mandy Williamson; Decatur County, Jenni Davis, Glenda Belk, Jennifer Brewer, B.J. Grubbs, Wendy Howard, Katie Moran Clara Wade; Kristi Conoly Rita Sekula; Early County, Alana McLendon; Grady County: Kelly Galatis, Brittani Turner and Blair Anderson. Miller County, Brent Henry; Seminole County, Lawante Bryant; Thomas County, Angel Harlow and Michelle Collins.

The graduates received distinctive pins designed exclusively for the BC program. ADN faculty members assisted ADN program director Faith Garrett in the pinning and awards presentations.
