Denham - Parish
Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Denham of Rush Springs, Okla., are happy to announce the engagement of their daughter, Shirley Renee, to Billy A. "B.J." Parish Jr. of Lawton, Okla., son of Billy and Pat Parish of Blakely.
Miss Denham was a 2003 graduate of Rush Springs High School and is presently employed by Arvest Bank in Duncan, Okla. Her grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Denham of Rush Springs, Okla.
Mr. Parish graduated from Early County High School in 2001 and attended Albany Technical College before enlisting in the Army in 2003. He has completed tours of duty in Afghanistan and Iraq and is presently stationed at Fort Sill, Okla.
His maternal grandparents are the late Edward and Dorothy Miller of Colquitt. Paternal grandparents are the late Clifton and Emily Roberts Parish and great-grandparents are the late Reuben Sr. and Ruby Lee Roberts, all of Blakely.
The couple has planned a garden wedding for the evening of Sept. 6, 2008, at the Lindley House in Duncan, Okla. All friends and relatives are invited to attend.
